Bugwhore
Rock
Bugwhore is a hardcore punk/grunge band from Birmingham, Alabama. Bugwhore's crunchy riffs, tyrannical percussion, and overall snarly attitude culminates in some of the finest headbangers this side of the Mississippi.
"Suddenly, like a phoenix reborn of its own ashes, Bugwhore was vaulted into this feeble world to spread fire and vengeance. Just when all seemed lost, the spirit of the magma and his four devoted soldiers coalesced into an ardent volcanic force whose sole purpose is to teach the world how to rage, fly, relax, and die" - translated from the scrolls of the Cicada Prince

Strumbrush
Alternative
Estranged apartment bedroom solo project turned art rock basement band. The debut Strumbrush album as a collective effort, Way Back, is full of twists and turns in all the right ways. Not lost is the warm, fuzzy feeling of the old, carefully integrated with the grit and lively, noisey nature of the new.
The Atlanta based quartet is quickly becoming a wonderful mix of varied artistic visions and perceptions within the band. The group takes their favorite parts of grunge & alt rock and intently sprinkles in their individual jazz, noise, folk, math and other subtle influences. The album introduces Jack Pace’s lead guitar prowess, haunting vocals, and atmospheric and immersive sound design. Fans will experience for the first time the genius of Tyler Sherman’s unique, melodic yet percussive bass playing. Strumbrush's latest edition is Thomas Evans on the kit, bringing a powerful presence to the pocket. All this stacked on top of the foundation singer/songwriter Foster Wells has set is amounting to something truly spectacular. (Or is it)
